The TELLER TEST is a 30 item timed test that measures the ability to handle money accurately under time pressure. More than a simple arithmetic or counting test, it asks simple questions about transactions in which tellers will be involved every day. Even when they have equipment that tells how much change to give a customer, tellers must be able to remove the correct combination of coins and currency from the drawer quickly and count it back to the customer correctly.
