This Month:    Holiday Greetings!
 


 

 
Holiday Greetings from all of us at Helm and Associates! What a year it has been, and what great plans we have for next year. Instead of addressing a selection or evaluation related question, I thought that this month I would like to tell you about some of the improvements we have in store for next year.
 
Early next year, we will launch our Facebook page. Yes, we’re coming to this party a little late, but we wanted to be sure that we did it right. We hope that it will be a good source of time-sensitive information and a way to stay in touch more informally.
 
Very soon, you will see report covers on all of the results and developmental reports that we send. We believe this will make it just that much easier to maintain confidentiality of report contents.
 
One of the new things that you will see on those report covers if you are using our Performance Profile system, our Job Applicant Survey, Bank Customer Service Survey, or Credit Union Member Service Survey, is a new logo on the report cover. The logo means that we have applied our unique Reality Check Technology to empirically adjust the results that you see according to how much the test-taker attempted to “look good” in his or her answers. Our Reality Check Technology ensures that the results you see more accurately represent the test-taker’s actual attitudes. During the coming year, we will be applying that technology to more of our attitude tests.
 
We’ve also been working hard in what we hope are invisible areas: upgrading software that runs our web site, improving processing speed for the reports that we send you, and trying to anticipate each customer’s unique needs so that we can make your life a bit easier!
 
We appreciate the opportunity to work with each of you, and I’m glad to have this chance to say once again that I believe we work with the greatest people in the world! Thank you again, and accept our wishes for a wonderful holiday season and a prosperous new year!
